From wearing matching outfits on special occassions to having matching phones, shoes and accessories, we’ve all had our fair share of experience with ‘twinning’ with a family member. “So before I can explain why I chose the magic mug, I need to give you guys a little bit of context on my family. Overall I can describe my whole family as being fun-loving and kinda quirky. Since I was a young girl, I’ve noticed the fact that my parents love to collect mugs. Especially novelty mugs. How did they react?

“It was honestly really funny to see them unbox the mugs. They were all pleasantly surprised at getting a sudden gift. The surprise then morphed into curiosity and a little confusion as they wondered why on earth did I get them all matching black mugs. 

“Black mugs? Did you go back to your emo phase?” – Younger brother. | (Jokes on him, I never left the emo phase!)

But as soon as I poured the hot coffee into the mugs for our weekly family tea time, their eyes immediately lit up. 

Now I can’t get away from them asking for their specific magic mug when we have ‘tea time’ at home. It’s become something they greatly cherish and I can’t help but grin from ear to ear when I see them use the mugs.” 

Would you recommend gifting a Magic Mug?

“Of course! In my opinion, a magic mug is the kind of gift that is just the right amount of thoughtful and quirky. It’s kinda like a stealth gift, to be honest. At first, when they receive it, the reactions would be like;
